I introduced a friend to the sport of 'golfing' at Patriot Hills Golf Club. The views are gorgeous and the course was in very nice shape, considering the time of year. I 'misplaced' my wedding ring and it was found by another golfer, turned in to the clubhouse when he made the turn and brought out to me on the 14th tee box. I HIGHLY recommend this course, not JUST for the value but also the personal attentiveness that a golfer receives while playing the course. Patriot Hills is now my 'mountain course' when I visit the Smokies.

Our group was deeply disappointed with this course. They had laid sod pieces around many greens. They did not try to make the sod level with the greens or the surrounding area. So the sod was roughly 2 inches higher than the green and the approach. They did not fill in the gaps between sod pieces with dirt so your ball could disappear. This course should not be on your "to play" list.
