Very disappointed is the least I could say about this course. Don't let the name fool you. This course was not any better than most state park courses I have played in KY or TN. Everyone in my group felt the same way. It was highly over rated and over priced. We were expecting to see a lot of nice views. One would expect mountainous views when one of the descriptions used to describe the course is "Cumberland Mountain." I should have listened to a friend of mine and played Deer Creek for half the money.

The greens and the fairways were excellent I will give it that, but like I said earlier no better than many state parks I have played.

This was a beautiful course. The design worked into the natural beauty of the landscape. The staff couldn't have been nicer. It was raining on and off the entire day and they came out and brought us an umbrella and towel. Nice clubhouse . Can't wait to go back, this was by far one of the best courses we've ever been too... FANTASTIC

The course is nice...not anything special compared to any other middle TN course. The downer here was the unbelievable hateful, rude people in the clubhouse and the attitude of the players on the course. Just an opinion, but the Nicklaus courses are way over-rated. The other state courses are just as nice or better in most cases. And the folks running the other state courses seem much nicer. Why?
