This course is not located in Vanscoy, it is on Valley Road just five minutes south west of Saskatoon.
Excellent and affordable course for a short game with friends and family

The Valley Road Golf Course in Saskatchewan is beautifully maintained, especially for a par-3 course. When comparing the price to the setting, this is clearly one of the best golf values around.

Each night when the course closes, the grounds crew gets to work. The irrigation system is excellent and the greens and fairways are always green and perfectly trimmed. The course gets the same care as high-priced country clubs and a fraction of the price to play.

The course is designed for golfers of any ability. Kids and new golfers will enjoy the short holes, while experienced golfers can use the course as an opportunity to work on their short game. The fairways are narrow so accuracy off the tee is important.

This really is a hidden gem, located in a wooded area that has been landscaped with care. Even if you aren't much of a golfer, a walk through the peaceful setting is good for the soul (especially this year!).

The staff is friendly and happy to help you. Under COVID-19 regulations, tee times must be scheduled in advance. The cost for a nine-hole round is just $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12.

We were their as a family for the first time this summer. We have been there as a couple and have gone with friends on various occasions. Every time the greens have been very well manicured. It is the perfect course for those starting out. A lady met us at the entrance during these Covid times and was great at outlining the parameters and made sure tee times were kept. Typically we do t have to sign up prior but it’s not a hindrance as they maintain safety and we can enjoy this diamond in the rough course!
