The 9-hole "Oak Forest" course at the Wescott Golf Club facility in Summerville, South Carolina features 3,550 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, ASGCA, the Oak Forest golf course opened in 2001.
Oak to Burn is the best rotation. Oak is the easiest of the three nines. Open fairways, large greens. driver off the tee on most holes (except par 3's obviously). Fun nine holes, but a bit over priced. Only worth the high price if you live in Wescott and don't want to fight Dorchester Rd traffic. Otherwise some of the other courses offer just as good of golf for much cheaper.
This is a great course. The three nine hole courses create a situation where you can play a different golf course every time you go there. The course is always in great shape (weather permitting) and the staff is friendly and helpful.
