The 18-hole "Litchfield" course at the Litchfield Country Club facility in Pawleys Island, South Carolina features 6,752 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.6 and it has a slope rating of 130 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Willard C. Byrd, ASGCA, the Litchfield golf course opened in 1966. Founders Group International manages this facility, with Eric Glosick as the General Manager.

This was the second year and I have to say it didn't disappoint. The greens and fairways were impeccable, the staff pleasant and friendly. The layout is challenging but can be managed by playing smartly, a definite risk reward layout.
