We have played this course before and found it to be in great shape, however, not so this year. The fairways were wet and muddy the greens dead. while other courses aerated their greens they where just packed mud.

We played the course in the rain on 02/28/09, and found it to be a fun, fair track, with a few memorable holes. I only lost 1 ball all day but wasn't hitting it very straight (a testament to the playability of the course). The fairways, greens and tee boxes were in nice shape. The bunkers were playable in spite of the rainy conditions. Water didn't seem to be a real hazard all day. The carts were electric and well maintained (no g.p.s.). Overall, I'd recommend the course as a nice mid-level addition to your package.

The greens and fairways were in excellent condition, making play a joy. As for interest and challenge, however, the course is more a good warm up course before tackling others. The bunkers are large but not really in play for most bogey golfers. The Southcreek course is more interesting and challenging, although its greens were not in quite as good a shape as the West course, at least on the day I played.

Like all the courses at National it is very fun and in great condition. Would definitely play it again.

Cartpath only as 1.5" rain fell the night before we played ... would love to play again in dry conditions .. almost every ball hit in fairway ended with a splash or a plugged ball ... overall, a nice course !!

I prefer this one for the person that's just trying to improve their game. Its a very enjoyable golf course. A must play if in Grand Strand Area

Beautiful course, lots of dogleg lefts... greens were a bit slow when I played (04/12/08), but they were in fantastic shape, clubhouse and amenities top notch.

Not an overly difficult Golf Course. Keeping ball in play will and should easily score you well especially if you are a mid to high handicap. Definately a good course to hone your game though.
