TPC Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, SC

Extremely disappointed with this course. For $70 I could have played two rounds at two nicer courses in the area, or I could have played at World Tour for $10 less, which IS in good condition. It is obvious that this course paid off Golf Digest to give them a five star review, because no course that is in such terrible shape deserves more than three. The layout itself is superb, but the course was in worse shape than any of the $30 courses we played all week. Greens were slow beyond belief, fairways were not well maintained, and the tee boxes felt more like glorified bunkers than anything. I will not ever play this course again and would not choose to play here even if it were $30. There are better courses in the area for that price.

At $70, it is way overpriced. Played The Heritage course in nearby Pawley's Island for $50. The course is far superior and we also had breakfast, lunch and two beers included. We won't be back.

NOT a PGA course for many years. Course in rough shape tee to green. No maintenance-no marshalling. Do yourself a favor and play Caledonia or True Blue. You will definitely be disappointed here!

Second time I have played and both times were great. Greens are in great shape, fast and true. Best of the three courses we played on this Myrtle Beach trip. Got a great deal at half off the normal rate. Staff treats you great.
