The 18-hole "Thornblade" course at the Thornblade Club facility in Greer, South Carolina features 6,669 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 73.1 and it has a slope rating of 136 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Thomas Fazio, ASGCA, the Thornblade golf course opened in 1990. Saeed Assadzandi manages the course as the General Manager.

I am a member at this course. 6 months after I joined, I received a letter that I was responsible for assessments of nearly $4000. Thornblade representatives never disclosed that they had greens needing replacement or that they were planning MAJOR capital improvements while courting me for membership. I would suggest that nobody who is considering joining this facility do so.
