The 18-hole "Sage Valley" course at the Sage Valley Golf Club facility in Graniteville, South Carolina features 7,245 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Thomas Fazio, ASGCA, the Sage Valley golf course opened in 2001.
I do not understand some of the reviews on this course. I have had the pleasure of playing this course 3 times and each time it has been fantastic. The amenities, from checking in, to pro shop, to the locker room ( showers are a nice touch)are fantastic. The golf course is always in great shape, practice facility is exactly what you need. I do not understand how anyone can give any of the ratings anything less than 3.5 stars, unless your caddie doesnt do a good job. I play quite a bit of golf and could not ask for a better place to play.
Disneyland of Golf. Everything a serious player wants done perfectly. Food, lodging, service, bagpipes, and three lighted "dormie" holes. Excellent golf course. Only thing missing, history
Enjoyed the outing, maybe the next best course to Agusta. One note of concern was that one of the caddies was not physically fit to be out there and was not much help to our threesome. Craig was the name.
First class all the way! Great course, great service, great food! If you get the chance, do it!
