The 18-hole "South Course" at the Berkeley Hall facility in Bluffton, South Carolina features 7,126 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.9 and it has a slope rating of 134 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Thomas Fazio, ASGCA, the South Course opened in 2002. Adam Kushner, PGA manages the course as the General Manager/COO.

Full-service private course in excellent condition. A Tom Fazio design, built ca. 2000. Green complexes are severe, so practice the short game. Lots of native wildlife, including alligators.

Most over rated and over hyped courses in South Carolina. All the "hype" is self generated by Berkeley Hall. But it isn't even ranked in the top 10 in Hilton Head area.

Course is kept well, but is very easy with huge greens and widest fairways around. SO the member like it because it doesn't challenge them all that much. It is designed for the membership which has an average age of about 65 years old it seems. I am a member.
