Five Ponds Golf Course, Warminster, PA

Played this course yesterday and found it in great shape. However the $45 for seniors was a little high for the value of the layout.

I play 5 ponds prob 10 times a year, its always in great shape, and greens always run true. i think its some what pricey, but no different than any other course in the phila area. compare to any public course close in the area i would go there first

Had a great time, the course looked fabulous, even after all the rain.

Pleyed here on Sat 10APR2010 at 1:30. Very nice course, very well maintained. Mostly open on the front, tighter on the back. Some great "over-the-water" shots, like the approach on number 4, and the Par 3 17th(very nice hole). The greens are not very trick, but still provide some challenges. Mostly straight holes with a couple doglegs and semi-blind tee shot. Overall a very good layout. I found the staff to be very pleasant, and the bar/grille after 9 holes had a very good selection. Played the round in 4 hours, but i could definitely see this course playing 5+ hours in the summer. If you are thinking of playing here, try to get it in early in the season, or on a less-desirable day (rain/wind/chilly). Nice driving range, and putting green. Overall a very good value, and just a very nice golf course(but nothing amazing).
