This is an old course with dime size greens. They have made improvements every year. The course is short but difficult. If you are looking for a cheap place to slap it around it this will work. Nice club house.

Cherry Valley has received substantial upgrades from last year. Vandalism to the greens last fall forced the workover and now it is a different and much improved course. Lots of care and work went into the overhaul and now I would rate Cherry Valley as the best value in the Poconos. The course has a fun set up and provides a great challenge. Give it a try, the people are great.

Used to play CV & returned to see the improvements, upgraded building, no major changes to course still bumpy & below average lay out. Food average, all in all the same game it just costs more. Thanks for paving the parking lot.

Most fairways list to the side because most of the course traverses a hillside. Some of the green are so hilly that even tiger would have trouble with them. Most players pick up on the 5th hole, the green is impossible. A waste of money, This place is owned by Gene Percudani, a mafia wannabe. Stay away.

I rated the difficulty high because it is tight & difficult, not a creative challenge at all. Great scenery. What is with the big Bison statue, this is the Pocono's. Lots of imporvements to the building & the parking lot is finally paved. I got a kick out of the guy playing with his shirt off, Anything goes @ Cherry Valley Golf course, just don't expect a sintilating round of golf.

Lots of improvements to the building, but food is still below average. This is a poor course. The only way I would return is for one of their Infamous stripper events.

I golf in northeast pa regularly. I've hit about 50 different courses in the past two years, and Cherry Valley is one of the worst. The layout is tight at times, ridiculously short in most cases, the conditions are sub-sub-par, and the cost it WAAYYYYY TOO HIGH. There are municipal courses in way better shape (in fact, Glenbrook is right down the road, perfect example). In addition to that, Water Gap Country Club (a real golf course) is not even 1/4 of a mile away and usually plays cheaper (if you can believe it) than Cherry Valley. Not recommended.

Course could be a bit better maintained such as sand traps, entranceway to 12th green, etc. Overall a great value for a nice course. Improvements have been made to club house and grille already. Heading in right direction.

For an average golfer like myself, this was a good course. Not too long and had very nice facilities. A few of the greens were in bad shape but overall they were fine. The bunkers could use some maintenance as well. I was there in mid july and the bugs wern't as bad as the other reviews had said. Overall good mix of obsticles and a joy to play

It wouldn't be a bad course but, it's infested, with mosiquitos. misquito repellant doesnt work.... It's a health hazard.

One word: BUGS. Ground is pretty hard, some holes feel like your playing on concrete with 1/8" of grass on top. Some holes are beautiful, particularly hole #17. The course is almost always empty, but the swarm of bugs is ridiculous.

Imagine what I said about the bugs. Now multiply it by 5,000. that's how many bugs there are. Can't recommend it b/c of the bugs.
