Played this course last week and found the greens and tee areas in great shape. The fairways needed some maintenace.

I went here during the renovtion of the clubhouse so there really were no amenities, but I did give it 3 and a half stars because you can tell that when it is done it will be really nice. I like this course, very difficult for me because I do not like blind fairways and it seems to me this couse has a lot of them. The scenery is nice (I think Pickering Valley has nicer scenery). The maintenance is one one of the better ones in the area. No driving range but they have a really nice chipping area with a hugh trap that lets you work on your short game before the round. Once I get a little better I would add this to my list of regular course to go to.

One of the more scenic public courses in the area, with ample hills and valleys, and a mix of moderately easy to fairly challenging holes (probably a few more of the former than the latter). This course has sort of grown on me over the years: when I first played it I admittedly kind of dismissed it as primarily a venue for beginners and high cappers, having not much length and what seemed like a lot of sameness to the par 4s. The more I've played it, though, the more nuances I've noticed, and the more I've come to appreciate some of the challenges that are there. A number of holes look deceptively easy, but turn out to be so ONLY if you put the ball where you were aiming at the distance you needed -- otherwise, not so easy after all. Overall, I think this is a solid course that actually plays harder than the yardage, rating, and slope would suggest. While this lay-out won't throttle you if you're not at your best, you're also not going to save many strokes if you're not on your game -- there simply aren't enough "gimme" holes where you can hack it around and still be in the vicinity of par. From its high points, this course also has some of the best views around of the surrounding countryside and of the reactor towers. It's really a pleasure to play, and the conditions are quite good.

I had a pretty good time playing this course. Weekend afternoon green fee was very reasonable. The pace of play was excellent. As a single I finished a round in 2 hours and 45 minutes. That is very impressive considering how slow i was moving by hole 15. It is probably the hilliest course i've played in philly. That makes it tough to walk, but I did it on an 85 degree and was fine. The course itself has a nice blend holes, although I with there was more variety in the par fours. they all seemed to be between 360 and 380. Or between 315 and 330. I still had fun on the course and probably would return just because the pace of play was so nice.

A great course for beginners, but with some shots that will challenge skilled golfers as well. Walk this course if you want a good work out. It has some great views, and the separation by the highway gives a feel of being larger than it is. Friendly people and reasonable fees.

Definitely a fun course to play. Beautiful views of East Vincent from the highest points. Greens are in excellent condition. Lots of variation and chance to shape your shots. The par 5's are fun and challenging. Friendly atmosphere and a great staff. Not as crowded as other courses in the area on Weekends.

Have golfed here a couple of times. Pretty decent course. More hills than the average course. Nice layout. Recommend using a cart.
