I played a round here a few weeks back, and surprisingly got off as a single midday during the week.

I was thoroughly impressed with the course, very friendly staff, and especially the picturesque stone 'relic' on the first hole.

The maintenance was as good as I've seen on a public course from tee to green (rough included), although the greens were a little slower than what I expected due to aeration the previous week. In addition to this, the holes were unique and challenging without being too daunting for mid-to-high handicappers.

It's about an hour drive for me, but I definitely plan on making it a regular play each year!

Wow what a course. I will admit that I was a little overwhelmed to play here after reading the reviews but we had a blast. First and foremost, bring an extra sleeve or two of balls. We went on a Tuesday afternoon, no back ups on the course. Staff was incredibly friendly, chatted with us before our tee time and the ranger even helped us look for a wayward tee shot. We saw the drink cart at least every 4 or 5 holes. As far as the course goes, it's definitely an accuracy favoring course. Overall environment would be a lot better if it wasn't surrounded by houses, but it doesn't take too much away from the course. We paid $42 for a twilight rate, which is a little steep, but in our opinion was worth it. We will definitely come back to give the course another shot now that we know the layout. Word of advice, think before you break out the driver on #8. Enjoy!

i love this track. play here several times a year and it never gets old. lots of variation in holes and setup so be ready to use every club in the bag. 600+ yd par 5 aptly named "Long" is a real beast, take par and move on. only real issue i have is the proximity to homes on a few holes. Overcooked one on a dogleft left and dented some guys siding, he of course yelled at me and i asked him why he lived 20 yds from a fairway...otherwise great course

Great looking and challenging (but not frustrating) course. Greens are championship size. Long carrys needed on some of the par 4s on the back.

I would suggest that this course is best for the player who can place shots well, as it really is essential. The course was in excellent condition when I played, and would have been wonderfully scenic if not for all the houses. There's a lot of challenging holes desinged to draw you in to making a bad choices, so there is a psychological element. The clubhouse and restaurant are very nice, and the staff is friendly. I gave it a lower value score as the fees are a bit steep even with a coupon, it still cost close to $60 for the round. My game is not up the level it needs to be to fully enjoy this course, so my value rating is subjective.

So, long story short, bring your A game. If you average high 90's you probably won't have as much fun on this course as you would somewhere less challenging.
