Played here June 24th. Brought a group with me none of which ever played here before. Very impressed, mentioned it to a larger traveling group we play with to put it on next years schedule. Know your clubs. There are some blind holes, and some doglegs that require a correct shot. The par 3's were very interesting. One of which is a blind tee shot. It was cart paths only and the rough was sticky but the fairways were perfect. The sand traps were not all raked but considering the weather we have had here they were not under water, so we adjusted. The price was also a pleasant surprise considering how nice of shape the course was in. Large greens, sneaky breaks, and quick. WE WILL BE BACK.

The course is very challenging and is great if you want to improve your skills at a good price ($26.50 riding 18). I've played on this course at least 50 times and now when I go to the other local courses they are a walk in the park. They are constantly working on the course. I don't know what it was like when WesternPA_hack played there. I've played there recently and they have the fairways, greens, and bunkers in good shape. The staff is amazing. Family owned and ran. They're always willing to help you out with tee times, rain checks, lessons, etc.

This course has really suffered in the last couple of years. The greens are like hitting into and putting on bumpy asphalt. Fairways and bunkers are also in bad shape. They just don't invest the time/money to keep this place up anymore. It's a shame, because the routing is wonderful, the place has some history, and there are some great views of the Beaver River valley.

I love this course! You have to be able to hit 'em straight though. Very challenging and beautiful scenery. I could spend all weekend here...if my wife would let me. The course is a small family owned business and every time I go there I almost feel like family. Jimmy is fantastic! Always helpful with tee time schedules, reschedules and whatever comes up. Go play there if you have a chance.

Paid to play here a few times, course was ok... Few days later went out to "chip and putt" on their practice green and was basically told to leave. "You can't just practice for free" -Jim Vetica. I'm an ex touring pro and have never been treated like this at a course, I enjoy just working on my short game and not spending the money to play. But they'll never see a dime from me ever again
