Mostly wide open with large greens at a decent speed. Most years the greens are in better shape than a course like Bella Vista but this year they seemed to take a lot of abuse (unfixed ball marks). Greens at decent speed with mostly subtle breaks. A few quirky holes, especially number 10 and 12, but a few very interesting holes as well. Management seems a bit stiff but they definitely take pride in mostly keeping the course in good condition. Not very friendly with pairing up single players with a group. If you are a single it is basically show up and hope they can get you out with a group rather than them making the effort to pair you up with a 2some or 3some at the time of the call. A bit risky if you need to make a 45 minute drive like myself. Pricey as they don't drop rates until 2pm and no discount otherwise throughout the year. Still worth a 45 minute to 1 hour drive.

Played this course yesterday. It was not in good shape for this time of year. Overpriced at $44 for seniors during the week.

overpriced supposed "links style" course. too wide open, not enough bunkers, no risk/reward for good shots...you'd be better off throwing your money in the gutter.

Not much to look at since it is so flat and few trees. Beautiful (and wide) fairways and greens. Great course for the 30-something handicaps.

I enjoyed this course. A little pricy for my taste but none the less, a good play. Staff is extrememly friendly. Water available at many tees. Great beginer course. Much, much, much better than the piece of garbage down the street called Limerick Golf Club.

I see this as a solid 3 out of 5 stars in every category -- nothing more, nothing less. It's pretty wide open as courses in the area go, with some tightening on the back nine. It has some excellently designed, challenging holes, along with a number of fairly non-descript ones. If you're hitting it well, you can really score here; if you're not hitting it well, you won't necessarily blow up since the course is sufficiently wide open to allow for recovery. As a result, it is a really fun course to play -- you're rewarded if you have your game on, but you're not humiliated if you happen to be a bit off that day. Course conditions are good -- not superb, but good. Overall, a solid, enjoyable course, but not in the Top 3 as another reviewer suggested -- in my opinion, not even in the Top 5, but maybe the Top 10. Though I haven't personally experienced it, I have witnessed some borderline "Ranger Nazi" behaviors when it comes to timing groups who were delayed by groups in front of them.

Very well maintained. Wide open. Very enjoyable. Not super intriguing, although 18 is compelling.

Ive played almost every public course within 40 miles of Philadelphia(excluding New Jersey) and this course is definitely Top 3. Great open-wide-links style course with a few closed-corner holes on the back nine. Challenging par 3's with water or sand, and long uphill par 5's. Windy conditions will definitely lengthen this course because of its open style. Great finishing hole, great small par 3 #3 (or 4 not sure), and great Par 5 #12 (i think!) that you can reach in two if you play up the right rough. Course is usually in tremendous shape and you feel like a golfer when you are playing it. Friendly staff and good eats make for a nice afternoon-but be sure to listen to the ranger or he will be up your backside for the rest of the day! A+ course.

Good value well designed course. The round would have been more enjoyable without the constant badgering of the rangers claiming we were playing slowly (1/2 a hole does not dictate slow play nor does finishing a round in 4 hours). Probably wont return because of the rangers outside of their attitude the course is wonderful.

Slow pace on the weekends, but that seems like the norm in this area. The course is fun, and there is a good variety of holes. Great name for a course as well.

Played on a Sunday morning and even though we were usually waiting on the group ahead of us, the course employees made us feel like we needed to go faster. Played Bella Vista on Saturday morning and never felt hurried or harried. Otherwise, the course was nice.

A GREAT value. It has a wonderful variety to the layout. Not a pushover on any hole. Conditions superb. Clubhouse understated. Maintenance 2nd to none. Friendly staff. The way every course should be (public or private). The course is the star. No silly upscale resturants or bars. My favorite in Mont. Co. Practice range nice.
