Played this course today for the first time in 4 years and I must say there has been a great improvement since last time. The fairways and greens are good shape butthe tee boxes need some care. The price was right. Senior rate was $27 with a cart.

From what I understand there is a new partner on board and from what I have seen there has been ongoing work to improve the condition of the course. I generally tee off around 7:00AM and the guys are out mowing or trimming trees. No, it is not a country club but it is a public course that is making an effort and for that and the very friendly staff I say give it a try. 10, 11, and 12 are a challenge. A month and a half later than the previous post (6/12/09). They are still working hard at improving the course. 10,11,& 12 are still a challenge. Stop in to the Sand Trap have a cup of coffee before your round. You will find a nice group of folks.

Early May, 2011 Almost all new grounds crew with a new head grounds keeper. Working hard at catching up from some extended rainy weather. I have chatted with them about some of their plans and it sounds like a real effort is being made and planned. Food is great and the staff is very friendly.

June 2012. New management and improvements are happening. Greens are better than they have been in a few years. The fairways are greatly improved. A pro shop is soon to be in place. There is now a true Director of Golf on staff. Things are really looking up.

Sept 2012. Greens are now in great shape. Dead trees coming down. Clean up and fix up around the Sandtrap. Very friendly staff. And, they are still working at improvements.

Poorly maintained. People from nearby apartments were walking their dogs on the course while people were playing.

This course was a decent cheap course but is going downhill fast. Every time I go, it's in worse condition. Unless they turn things around, I won't be coming back.

What a waste of an afternoon. The bar is about the only good thing on this property. As noted in other reviews, I could not tell the difference from the fairway and the rough. Also, there is nothing "fair" about the fairway. I think my front yard is easier to hit from. The greens look like crap and the holes don't drain. There is no water available at any tees. They do not offer rain checks. The cart path is ALL DIRT. No concrete. So if it begins to rain, or just rained, you're going home muddy. I will never go back unless it's a free round. And even then, who knows.

This course isn't even worth reviewing. It either needs new management with some $$$ to put into upgrading/renovating, or the property should just be turned into condos. The course conditions are horrible, the holes are generally short, unimaginative, and boring, the staff is apathetic. Not worth 5 cents -- in fact, they should pay the public to play this cow pasture,

This course is ok. It is not for golfers that really care about golf. There is clover in every fairway. The fairways blend directly into the rough. You cant really tell the difference. The greens were very slow. I don't think the yardages are extremely accurate but who knows. The one good thing is the layout is pretty good. It is not a tough course but the holes are well planned. The greens are huge! You really can't miss them. If it had good grass I would reccommend it to my friends. I put this course right there with Skippack. Beat up and a little bogus but not unplayable.

Played this course for the 2nd time today. It will probably be the last. I paid $22 to ride after 4pm on a Sunday. Honestly $22 to ride should be the price for weekend mornings. This course is a joke. Like a previous review says there are no fairways here. It's like playing in someone's yard. The rough and the fairways all run together and the greens are in terrible shape. It was like putting on my living room carpet. On top of all of that the course is poorly designed. Tee boxes well within range of tee shots from other holes, and there are no "fun" holes on this course.

Reviewed August 19, 2007

This course is horrible. The people are very rude. There is no such thing as a fairway at this course because they dont maintain it. Its exactly like playing on a highway. Pretty much this course SUCKS. Im never going there again.

Reviewed July 26, 2007

Do not play here. The staff is rude. The conditions are poor at best. The are plenty of other good courses that are about the same price with in 15min of this course. I would give this zero stars except the site won't let me.

Reviewed July 24, 2007

Almost all fairways are completely burned out. No amount of rain will bring them back this year...

Year round

Very good course to play year round. The winter time not many people are out there at all. Defiantly not the hardest course but a good course to walk. Most of the conditions are very good. Not to many flaws on the greens. The fairways are cut a little high for my liking but for the money it is still a good value.
