Middletown is a fun course to play and has a great layout but the maintenance prohibits them from being what could be an awesome course. Although the course is relatively short, there are several unique holes and accuracy provides you your toughest challenge especially on the back 9. The value for this course is lacking considering its condition. $32 to walk twilight weekend sounds reasonable and would be if they took better care of the rough and made greens consistent. The fairways are fine, but anything off gets little to know attention which makes finding balls difficult and often feels like you are hitting out of your unmowed back yard.....truly a shame and makes Middletown a one time only play instead of a staple which is could and should be. The staff, super nice and great amenities. The 19th hole has a long wooden shuffleboard which is fun to play after the round while enjoying a beverage of choice. They have logo balls for the collector like myself. Overall rating B-.

Very playable and in good shape when we played in early August. Much better than some other public/municipal courses I've played in teh past. Lots of rolling hills make play interesting even in the absence of par 5s (there's only 1). Bar and club house are acceptable and the food was good for a quick bite after the round. Will be playing there again.

Played this course a few times, and I've had some issues with the maintenance both times. Sand traps are in bad shape, parts off the fairway fenced off and no divots replaced by anyone throughout the day. If you're looking for a place to play around the langhorne area, save yourself some gas money and play here, it's really reasonable as far as pricing goes.

A middle range course that serves it's purpose. If your a golf snob this isn't your place. Greens can get very fast and a little inconsistent. Only one par 5 but a few par fours where you can grip it and rip it. I have no complaints about the course. The price is right for the product that is delivered.

Loved this course! I'll be back to play again and again. Played slow but nobody seemed to care. No big hurry for these locals :-)

This is an old style parkland course with a lot of trees and hills. There are not many easy lies here. Don't let the shorter yardage deceive you -- this is a tough course. Many locals, very friendly. Has a small-town feel, no snobs. It's a great value too, especially for twilight hours.

Quaint, but nice

Great little course...and I mean little (only 1 par 5). Greens were really in fantastic condition for December. Fairways...it's a work in progress. This is a no frills club. Maintenance...satisfactory, pro shop...don't blink or you'll miss it. BUT all told, this course has a nice identity. If you're on a budget...it's a great value. That said -- be prepared to deal with extremely novice golfers (who need to get lessons and range time before taking the links...and learn some ediquette too) and retirees who aren't really motivated to finish a round in 4 hrs.
