course was in great shape greens were smooth and good speed. we were treated great right from the cartboy up to the chef who had a grill set up with rib chicken sausage and pulled pork. pace of play was 4 hours. could not ask for a better day except for my 3 three putts.

First visit to this golf club and last. I predict they will turn this course into corn fields or cow pasture within 5 years or less. Don't waste your time or money at this golf club or should I say an old private club that doesn't like being open to the public. I have too many complaints to list them all other than the hateful behavior of the staff. As a native to Kutztown with family still living there I suggest visiting any other course than this GC.

Been playing there more often over the past year. This is a nice course challanging but forgiving enough for the weekend warrior! Price is reasonable. A great place to play in the fall. Could use better yardage markers but maybe they were pulled for the fall? In all a good place to play I would make it a stop if you are in the Reading PA area

My wife and I played, had the course almost to ourselves on a late afternoon in September and it was gorgeous. A beautiful setting for a beautiful day. I found the landing areas off the tees to be very wide and forgiving even when the fairway was tighter, great for the weekend duffer. I have to question some of the yardage markings on the fairways. On 18, on 16, and at least two others I think the 150 mark in fairway is actually a bit closer or suddenly I can launch 7 Iron 175 yards because I flew each of those greens by ten to twenty yards. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the hospitality and the atmosphere. People are lucky to now have access to this course.

What a gem! And what a bargain! Classic old-school layout with mature trees, each hole setting up nicely from the tee. So much nicer than newer condo-lined, cart-dependent courses. This is golf as it was meant to be. (And they let you walk.) Quiet on weekdays, and only 40 bucks. Where else can you play an LPGA tour stop for so little. Totally worth the drive to Kutztown.

Formerly private, rough around the edges a rare minimally altered Robert White course, one of very best in state of PA on the public side

Great layout. Will need some work to bring it back.

Greens were nice, but fairways and tee boxes could definitely use some work! The course was challenging, but fun at the same time. A better deal in the valley is Iron Lakes -- about half of the price per round.

I have played this course as Berkleigh Country Club and find that it continues to be in excellent condition and generally is a great bargain. I did have a couple of concerns about the condition of the "sand traps" and that fact that the course completely closed down before all golfers were complete with their round. We got off at about 7:00PM and were informed that the pro shop and grill room were closed as was the locker rooms. There were still golfers on the course and no locker room facilities!!! We wanted to wash up before leaving and were unable to do so. I hope that this was simply an oversight and not the way that this course is going to be run. We did appreciate the fact that there were four tee boxes to choose from -especiallly since both of us were seniors and this course plays very long from the white tees. Could the score cards or Pro shop staff include this information? All in all a very nice course to play.

Fantastic. Challenging but fair. Fun. Lush and green. I love walking this course in the late afternoon. The crew has done a great job bringing the course around since the private club went out of business last summer. Plays long even from the white tees. This course going public is one of the best things to happen to the Lehigh Valley/Reading area golf scene. Very affordable. Here is your opportunity to play a course that Sorenstam and Ochoa played not too long ago.
