Easily the weakest of the 3 9's at Wedgewood. This 9 and Oak make up the original 18 at Wedgewood with this being the old back 9. The conditions of this 9 falls in line with the rest of the course(see my other reviews) but the holes were blah at best. #8 which is a nice long dog leg left par 5 is really the only hole on this 9 that stood out to me. Holes 5 and 6 leave a lot to be desired and are probably the two worst holes at Wedgewood. 5 is a 250 yard par 4 and 6 is an 88 yard par 3. It almost seems they ran out of room when building the course and needed to get two holes out of an area that should have been used for just one. This was the last 9 we played and breezed through it pretty quick as the course had really emptied out. We hit up the twilight special for $30 and teed off at 2:20. Amazingly we were able to play 27 holes in 5 hours on a Saturday which was fantastic. This was my first visit to Wedgewood and i'd deffinately consider returning because of it's value and location. I live in Scranton and my playing partners from Coatesville so the Lehigh Valley makes a great meeting point. I'd recommand Wedgewood to anyone looking for a solid course that offers a nice variety of holes a very reasonable price. I would not put it in the same group as Southmoore, Whitetail, Riverview and Olde Homestead but i would put it up against Green Pond and Bethlehem Muni. With that said i would suggest making Maple and Oak your two 9's as Pines does leave something to be desired.

Race track and not worth the green fee. Driving range is huge! Food was not too bad.
