short? yes, but always in great shape, I only play irons here, so a good place to practice iron play. Nice bar area, for a township run course, what more could one want?

Paxon Hollow is a very nice course, well maintained and challenging despite its length which is too short. If this course was about 800 yards longer it might be a superb course, but as it stands it's just great. There are unique holes, some from elevated tees, and the water that comes into play makes playing them fun. Paxon Hollow also is very scenic with woods surrounding much of the course. The greens play fair but are a little too protected by the multiple sand traps guarding them on most holes. The value of $25 to walk weekday winter rates is a really good deal and the staff is friendlier than nearby Springfield. The drawbacks, as previously mentioned is the short length, too many sandtraps in front of almost every green, and they made me pair up which I hate doing if I come to play alone. However, minus these setbacks, it's still an enjoyable place to play and I'd reccommend giving Paxon a try if you can find a time where it is not that busy. They also have logo balls, a plus, for the collector like myself. Overall rating A-.

Great golf course for all ability levels. I think the price is fair at 50 bucks for weekends. Its well kept and has some very nice holes like 17 and 18. Overall I would highly reccomend this place over places like Springfield...GOOD DEAL

Course is somewhat short, but makes up for it with a number of dog legs hilly terrain and a few tempting to 'drive the hole' short par 4's with obstacles.
18th is signature hole. Very challenging. Also enjoyed 17th hole short par 3 very elvated tee.
Club house has a few basic items a few clubs, balls, ect.
Special green fee pricing after 2 PM and 5 PM.
Cart girl was cute and polite, but non existant after a few holes.

Good shape apart from the green side bunker on 15 which is a disgrace. Tried hitting out and found a buried plastic wheel!!! Enjoyed the round and that was the only blip.

A nice scenic, undulating course twisting through wooded and hilly countryside. Some tight fairways and interesting doglegs to challenge most golfers and test accuracy. The 18th is a fitting finish to the course (save some energy!) - a long par 5, it crosses the stream twice as it heads up hill towards the final hole. Overall a very pleasant course with friendly staff and it represents good value for money.

not bad, only played the front 9. choose your date wisley because its pretty hilly in some areas and thats no fun in the heat.

A little pricey for playing conditions. irons only range, but good food and full bar. Short from all tee box's, but requires confident iron play. You will most likely hit driver approximately 5-6 times. Overall the course makes for a good sunday.
