Spring Mill Country Club & Manor, Warminster, PA

I had played this course several times in the 1990's and I have played over 120 different courses over the last five years and rarely do I complain but yesterday I had an opportunity to play this beautiful golf course. We were given a certificate for golf and carts for four from a ex-member of our group. For medical reasons he can no longer play golf. He had won it at a charity auction and sent it to us. After hitting our first drives we were called back to the pro shop and told us the certificate was bogus. Apparently the certificate was not the original but a place holder used in auctions. He rudely told us to leave the course immediately. I can understand his position but his attitude really was poor. The people behind the counter were very professional though. It was the guy with the tie who made us feel like we intentionally tried to defraud them.

Great course. Challenging (long, well guarded greens on many holes) but fair (even though I didn't play particularly well). Would definitely recommend if you get the opportunity to play.
