Losers course the place is pathetic

rough is insanely high, extremely long carries required on several tee shots

Too many old ratings, the golf course is looking great and deserves better than what has been written in the past. I played it daily in High School. From the tips, the course is a @$!*%, but not unfair. It's a good solid course with undulating fast greens. Not slick fast, but good fast. The clubhouse and staff are great.

We played on a weekday and the course is in great shape! All for a great rate! The staff in the pro shop was very helpful!

The course would be dynamite if you live in Owasso. I would prefer to stay in Tulsa and get the same or better golf experience.

After reading some of the comments on this site I was compelled to shed some light on the course condidtions at Bailey Ranch G. C.

During 2007- and through mid 2008 the greens suffered terribly due to some extreme weather conditions along with some improper agronomic practices. Three of those greens were closed shortly after the PGA Championship and renovated. Temporary greens were used for approximately 6 months in order to let the new greens grow in a mature. All of those issues HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. All 18 greens are in good shape and Bailey Ranch is again one of the nicest courses and best values in the Tulsa area public golf market. It is unfortunate that most of the posts made on this site where during the 2007 PGA Championship at Southern Hills CC, shortly before we closed those greens. The course conditions were at an all time low and at a time when many people traveled to Tulsa to enjoy the tournament and play golf.

We feel very good about where our course conditions are now, and feel even better about the future. I am confident anyone that plays golf at Bailey Ranch now and in the future will not be dissappointed.

The scorecard and website paint a different picture of what Bailey Ranch truly offers. The greens were awful and some didn't even exist. Quite a few homes are close to the fairways on some holes. I was highly disappointed and wished I went somewhere else.

Judging from the photos on their website I was really looking forward to playing this course. My group signed in and ended up paying a regular green fee for a twilight tee time. No one complained even though the staff was not willing to give us any break.

The tee box on number one looked great, I presume because the rest of the course is just awful. Three greens had been flooded and were fungus ridden, literally unplayable, which no one at the front desk had mentioned. You assume that if there are flagrant issues with the course that such problems would be made clear by a decent manager. Several sand bunkers were filled with dirt, just plain dirt.

The scenery was so insipid that it managed to provided us with the days only amusement during the long waits between holes since the marshal had clearly left town. The one highlight of the day, besides the air-conditioning in my car as I drove away from the course, was the drink cart that ran a continuous supply of water to our group.

My vote is no, stay away. Poor management of this course has clearly taken a toll. Give them five years and maybe this course will be worth looking at again, by someone else.

Played this course while in Tulsa attending PGA Championship. Shameful that this golf course is even open and people pay to play. Three of the greens had absolutely no grass at all-just mud. Other greens were spotty at best. One hole you had to to walk thru head high weeds to get to the green from the cart path as there was no walkway at all. Fairways are in relatively good condition, sandtraps were very erratic. Course design was challenging. Overall, until greens are rebuilt, I would never recommend anyone play this course!

My first time playing the course. I traveled 54 miles and I was totally disapointed. All 18 greens were in nice terms HORRIBLE. I will never play the course again. If the person on the phone tells you one thing...think the opposite.
