Very difficult, scenic and a lot of elevation changes. Worth the drive from Columbus or Cleveland. Not as much of a treat as the Granville course but still, an excellent golf experience.

As a former resident, this course will keep you coming back if not for the challenge then at least the views. Layout is tough enough, but the greens are tougher.

Too hard if your handicap is over 20. On the edge of the Appalacian Mountains. Incredible vistas. If this course was near a big city it would cost $150 to play, not $30! Now listed in the top 10 public courses in Ohio by Golfweek Magazine. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AND WORTH THE TRIP. Call Jeff Eppley, the owner and schedule the cabin there for your group.

What a wild run through the hills this course is. It is had to swallow when you bust one down the middle only to get a funky hilly lie every fairway has. Hard to find a flat spot anywhere. Tight course that penalizes wayward shots SEVERLY. Every green is a 3 putt waiting to happen. Swallow your pride and give it a shot. You'll have to earn every par here. It has made other courses I dreaded now seem simpler. The slope and rating are way low compared to many other course & country clubs I play.

Anyone who thinks that Ohio is flat should play this course as well as the Salt Fork State Park GC. These two courses alone with hammer home that southeast and eastern Ohio are far from flat. One of my favorite courses in Ohio, wild terrain, wilder greens, good conditioning and low prices to play with a cart. Play this along with Fire Ridge and you will have a great day of golf (both in Millersburg).

Ball Buster

This is one of the most challenging courses in Ohio. Scenery is spectacular, with lots of elevation changes. You MUST play this course if you have any self respect as a golfer. If you score here, you are one tough customer, and you have earned everyones respect. The par 6 really ought to be a long and very difficult par 5. I love to walk, but not this course.
