18 hole regulation length course
Suggest Edit
The 18-hole "Highlands" course at the Blue Heron Golf Club facility in Medina, Ohio features all the hallmarks of Ohio golf. Designed by John F. Robinson, the Highlands golf course opened in 2005.
Played this course today...what a horribly maintained track. The layout is definitely tough and causes a lot of risk/reward type of play. However, when you have greens with dead spots bigger than a golf cart, bunkers with tadpoles living in them, other bunkers that have been allowed to become overgrown "ground under repair", and fairways with multiple dead spots...the course is completely ruined. Top that off with the price to play (we played 18) of $40 (discounted from $55)...you have a very disappointing experience.I will not recommend this course to anyone nor will I play this course again for a LOOOOOOONG time!
I don't understand the first reviews. This couse has not been maintained properly in years. It's a great layout but the housing market bust made their private golf club go bust and the public course gets little attention. Only go if you can go cheap
