This place is a disgrace. It is a shame because it could be/should be a wonderful track. It has been in decline for years and has now reached the point whereby it is almost a cow pasture. The greens have always been one of the key assets of this course. Sadly, due to the neglect of its so-called general manager and the city of Cleveland, the greens are now almost lost also. Many of the greens are now covered by a fungus and are never repaied or mantained. The cups have not been moved in a month nor have the greens been cut as of late. This time next year the greeens will be 100% unplayable. There are more staff playing than there are paying customers and for the most part the staff are rude and rarely working.
If the city is unwilling to hire outside management for this course, and thereby bring in much needed revenue, then at least allow the Metroparks system to operate the facility.
