The 18-hole "Minerva Lake" course at the Minerva Lake Golf Club facility in Columbus, Ohio features 5,513 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 69. Designed by Woody Baugh, the Minerva Lake golf course opened in 1931. Rodney Royster manages the course as the General Manager.

I really liked this course, in fact it is probably my favorite course to play in Columbus. For $20 to play 18 holes on a Sunday morning you can't beat the value. The elevation changes are awesome and make some of the par 3's seem twice as long as what they are marked. If you can drive the ball relatively straight off the tee 200 yards or more you'll have a great time on this course. If you muff some drives there are some big valleys to get up out of. The 18th hole is cool - 100yds downhill to the green seems easy enough, but over-hanging tree limbs force you to hit it dead straight. Hit it long and you can take out a window of the clubhouse...Perfect choice for a finishing hole on this course!

Pretty neat course. They keep talking about selling it for a housing development, but thankfully it hasn't happened. Really enjoy this course. Interesting challenges, friendly staff, very reasonable price.
