not sure what the greens looked like in 2010 but the greens were very nice! They just opened a very nice bar/restaurant with great food and drinks. Pay extra 6 bucks better staff, course and overall experience than other courses in the area.

Had never heard of this course until a buddy made mention of it. Was very pleasantly surprised! In great condition, challenging while not impossible, scenic, fairly priced...I will definitely return! We travel to different courses at least 4 or 5 times each summer...this was one of the gems of this summer. The staff was extremely courteous...going to get hand cleaner for one of our foursome after having some car troubles on the way there (very willingly changed our tee time to accommodate our late arrival). Will not only recommend this course...but will be back, SEVERAL times! Go to GolfNow for even cheaper rates and the course is even more appealing!

At least 6 greens have been desimated with disease and the management refuses to acknowledge that they roll poorly. The efforts to fix the greens is all good, just don't expect to enjoy your time spent with the short stick. Also, drainage on the course seems to be major issue; despite the dryness of this season several of the fairways were soggy and beat.

This has quickly become one of the finest golf courses in Northeast Ohio. It will only become better with time, but it is in beautiful condition for a young course. The greens are some of the finest I've ever played, however I wish they would hand out repair tools as by the end of the day, the locals have left their mark.

I've only played from the back tees, which has a 615 yard Par 5 and a 233 yard Par 3 that is all carry. It looks a lot easier from the front tees, so it is playable by all levels if you select the correct tees for your game. It is worth mentioning that this is a Brian Huntley design, Brian also designed the award winning "Quarry" in Canton. This place is worth the drive and the modest greens fees.

This course is VERY challenging. Make a mistake and the course fights back. Still has some rough spots. The staff is very professional and the yardage is right on. Long par fours and good par fives. A little expensive for the area but is a nice change of pace.

Difficult course. You better be accurate because trouble lies in wait in most roughs and out of bounds. I'd like to have a nickle for every ball I've lost here. Not a beginners course; average players will find this course very challenging. We were behind a foursome of competitive college players and even some of them were getting frustrated. Otherwise it is a scenic course and very enjoyable. Fairly expensive at peak times.

Played the course today the 24th. Pros nice track interesting collection of holes and shots needed. Large greens many tee boexes. Cons. With all the teeing area available tee boxes need to be moved more often many bare spots. Greens bare spots, top dressed with sand and one green was all sand, our group implemented a 2 putt pick it up rule. All shots to the green sounded like tennis balls hitting the court when landing. Would I go back, probably because that is where the groups tee times are made.

This is a fantastic course for a three year old course.
This course has PLENTY of length if you want to play it
all from the tips. I played it today and the course was
in very good shape. Greens were great, rough was plentiful,
and only some trouble areas in some of the fairways where grass
is not fully grown in yet. The course has some of the best
holes in this area that are fair but they will challenge you
at your game. For the money, you cannot beat this course and
you will get to hit everything in your bag too.

I am very glad that I made the trip from Pittsburgh. This course has a solid practice facility, a fantastic layout and plenty of challenges. I will play here again, even with the 60 mile drive. My only negative comment was that the fairways and greens were not cut the day I played, however a storm had passed the previous night, so I give them a pass.

It is a new course, but I thought it was in very good shape. Well maintained. The layout is excellent with many memorable holes. Can't beat the 35$ we paid. The greens are fast and challenging, yet fair. Would love to come back and play again. Not having a huge clubhouse doesn't lessen the enjoyable time there!

I'm by far the most recent review of the course it seems, but this course and its facilities are some of the nicest that I have golfed at. Complete clubhouse, and driving range are maintained really well. To top it off the greens are new, the layout is amazing, and there are some truly challenging holes on this course. Really does make you feel like you aren't in Ohio. The only viable complaint I see is that some of the hole construction, ie. water hazards, embankments, etc.. are not completed. The fairways show little wear and tear, ESPECIALLY when you consider its in one of the hardest areas (Northern Ohio) to keep a nice course.

Reviewed August 21, 2007

A rough course. The greens were full of marks and the fairways were in poor condition. The price for this young course is too high when compared to more established and better maintained courses in the area. They should not be charging this much for a work in progress. The course has some challanging holes and is scenic.

Reviewed July 15, 2007

The course plays very difficult the par 3's have alot to offer. You will use every club that you have in you bag as you think about how to position yourself on every shot. This is a great risk and reward golf course.

For only being a year old and the greens are smooth as glass yet a little firm. But as mentioned before you have to think your shots and set your self up to maybe hit a high iron onto the greens. The scenery and landscape are so get you forget that you are in northern Ohio

theGolfguy must be a hack, complaining about $17 fee because it's has growing pains of being a new course, his ratings are a little harsh.

He is right about the how the whole thing is being managed and the club house not being done yet but when you live in Ohio, you have to bear the pains of bureaucratic bull&$%# that can hold up the process of trying to get things done,...or they ran out of funds? (which would be hard to believe)

Driving range is nice and hopefully GPS will be installed at a later date.

This will be the best overall golf course in Trumbull/Mahoning/Columbiana county by far when it grows in (2 more good years). From the tips, it will also be the hardest. The only 2 other places that will complete with it are Avalon Lakes Golf Course ($100) and maybe Firestone Farms (tips).

NOT WORTH THE MONEY YET

Will be a great course in a few years. Needs to grow in alot and what they are charging is crazy.Very miss managed on the club house end of things. Want to charge $42 of a course that is worth $25.
It will be a great one when it grows in and they learn how to manage it right. Then it will be worth the money.
