Classic Stanley Thompson design featuring nice mix of challenging holes over looking the Chagrin Valley. The par 3s and 4s are very interesting and offer varying yardages, elevation changes and tremendous vistas. Signature hole is the par 3 4th, which measures 170-210 yards from member's tees, and features a beautiful green site framed by bunkers and natural rock formations... truly unique and awesome natural setting. Chagrin Valley also features strong combination of par 4s varying in length, elevation changes and challenging green sites. Back nine features "CV's amen corner" on holes 12-14. Number 12 is a 450 yard par 4 featuring a tee box over-looking the Chagrin Valley and dog-legs to the left with and interesting and deceptive green. The 13th hole is a very challenging uphill par 3 measuring 160-200 yards and plays 1-2 clubs longer than the yardage. The 13th green site features two tiers and numerous challenging pin positions. The 14th hole is a short uphill par 4 measuring 330-360 yards with a narrow and pitched green site, that is well protected by deep bunkers fronting the green.

The course conditions are excellent, and the staff is very personable and accommodating. Chagrin Valley's clubhouse was fully remodeled in 2016, and features two outdoor patios with outstanding views of the golf course. Chagrin Valley also features three beautiful dining rooms, fitness center, really nice locker rooms, fully stocked golf shop, pool, paddle courts, and tennis courts.
