Diamond Hawk is a good course. Easily accessible from anywhere in Buffalo thanks to Route 90 and Route 33. Being so accessible does have it's downside due to airplanes flying overhead every 15 to 20 minutes. Diamond Hawk has improved since its opening, by improving drainage and their overall maintenance. DO NOT PLAY HERE ON WEEKENDS BEFORE NOON. You will want to shoot yourself because you just wasted 6 hours playing a round of golf. Overall this course is well designed, well maintained and a good public course to play on weekdays.

Nice course, not as difficult as I thought it would be, gotta keep it in the fairways.Greens are fast but not unfair, bunkers are deep and unforgiving.I'm a 15 hndcp and shot 91 first time out, if I knew the course could probably improve (famous last words lol) and I'll be back.

Please do not join any of their leagues under any circumstances. You will NEVER see any money returned, they change their policies based upon the whim of the golf pro. He and the rest of his staff are the rudest, least caring and uncooperative staff that I have ever encountered. Last night they expected us to continue our match during a thunderstorm and said there would be no credit if we did not finish. The almighty dollar is, apparently, more important to them than the safety of their patrons. These peope are NOT consumer friendly. My advice is to go elsewhere for your own sanity and safety

For the Green Fee amount $50 plus. The value is not there. The staff did not greet you. They were not customer fulfillment oriented. Took my money and did not bother to look up from the computer or ask have you played here before? These folks need to create a positive experience for the golfer. Exceed the expectations! That may be a reach at Diamond Hawk

good course bad experience

played 15 holes with nothing but lawn mowers in the front side rear some times seamed on top of us. great course bad experience. payed 40$ to be destracted the whole time very disappointed. told them, the responce was ill tell the grounds crew. no comp so my suggestion to any golfer who is considering playing there go some where else where you can enjoy all 18 holes.

Poor value, rude service, long waits... not worth the money

I found this course to be an average layout, with well below average amenities and service. Tee times were late, the staff was cold to rude, the green fee was high for the area, and the location (next to the airport) did nothing to improve the experience. If you're in the area and looking to play a public course, Arrowhead and Glen Oak are far superiour courses and cheaper to boot. Diamond Hawk was perhaps the single worst golfing experience I've had in years. To pay $50 and get a photocopy of the scorecard is emblematic of the pathetic approach of the owners to running this course. In the competitive Buffalo golf market, the novely of this course, which opened this year, will soon wear out, and I expect it will either get its act together or go under.
