Hilly, but fun. Water holes are tricky.

An all around fun course to play. Very well kept. My favorite local cousre to play.

this course is simply a scenic treasure, a genuine test of golf from all stances but still modest enough to ensure the modest golfer a soul-satisfying round

Grandview Farms golf course

Grandview Farms is one of my favorite local tracks. At just over 5,550 yards and with a par of only 70, you might be led to believe that this is a short, easy scoring course. It is neither. Tons of elevation change, sloping fairways, tricky doglegs and postage stamp sized greens make for a challenging round of golf. You may laugh, as I first did, at the clubhouse (integrated as part of the farmhouse), or at the scorecard (all of the holes are a miniature golf course)or the parking lot itself (the front yard). But the first tee will wipe the smirk off your face. This course is VERY pretty, with sweeping elevation changes, babbling brooks, and gorgeous flora and fauna. The tee boxes are trimmed, and all have a ball washer. Some fairways are wide, but most all require accurate ball placement. The toughest part of this course is finding it. The course is about a 35 minute drive from Binghamton, but well worth the gas money. Be sure to bring the bug spray too. This used to be a working horse farm years ago, but someone forgot to tell the horseflies that the steeds are gone. B.Y.O.B. as Berkshire is a dry township.
