Hickory Hill Golf Course, Baldwinsville, NY

No trees. Hardly no water. Lacking bunkers. Just an old field fashioned into something resembling a golf course. Maybe this is where 8 years are supposed to learn the game, but in my opinion it is not where someone who considers themselves a golfer would want to play.

The driving range is decent, although the area they let you hit from grass is small, and not level. Unless condition are wet and don't allow, hitting from mats isn't for me.

Great place to sharpen your game. The grounds are kept in top notch shape with an everyday crew of at least 8, which seems like a lot for an executive course. All holes are changed on a regular basis I think more than once a week. Owner has deep pockets and loves golf. Hi Dave!

I have brought friends here and they love it and some of them come at least twice a week. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Something for everyone at Hickory Hill Golf Course

The first thing that strikes me are the excellent mid-sized greens and lush fairways, and this is a course that is just a couple years old. Drainage is excellent. Some of the par 4's are driveable but still challenging.There are both long and short par 3's. I think this is just a fun layout where you can really give your irons a work-out.You won't loose many balls here. The Maintenance crew are obviously top notch and the Club House staff are both knowledgable and very friendly.
