This golf course is awsome, for a novice golfer like myself, it was like playing at pebble beach. Mind you I usually play at Harlem Valley. Water and Sand Boxes seem to be a big thing over there. Greens seem to slope more than they look. Its deffintly Well groomed... One hint I can give you that was giving to me... Hit UP hill, Because your ball will find its way to a spot where you might be blocked as this course is built on a slope. Have fun out there

Incredible. It is hard to believe that this impeccably manicured course is open to the public for daily play.

I regularly travel up to two hours from my home in northern New Jersey to find and play dozens of golf courses(we are easily bored)...SiloRidge is among the very best I have ever played, regardless of cost...for condition(superb fairways, tee boxes and greens) the layout(very intriquing and fun to play...the back nine starts with a par 5..and there are 3 of them, the 2nd hole(number 11) is an exhilarating island green, par 3..and there are 3 par threes on that side... some are hilly, all are challenging but fair...I shoot around 90-95, but had a 51 on the back side, now I know it and will improve(number 18 is deceivingly long and treacherous. The front nine(we played them second that day) were a little easier, but still gorgeous, less hilly and very playable, and I got 5 pars on that side for a 43. But even had I scored worse....the course was tremendous...We're going back in two days...even though it's 99 mile from us...The best $38 value in the northeast..I only know one course its equal near Binghamton NY...called the Conklin Players Club. This is a must play...and you will truly be mesmerized by the scenery as well!!

Silo Ridge

Easily the nicest course I have ever played. Holes are challenging and will definitele expose you're weaknesses. Beautifully manicured 18 holes that make you feel like you are on the Tour, especially the island green. For the unbelievable price you absolutely can NOT beat Silo Ridge.

Pastoral Setting, Challenging Course

As a novice golfer who has only played in a handful of Dutchess County, New York and a few other courses, I found this course to easily rank as the most beautiful, well cared for and for me, challenging courses. Many of the fairways are easily attainable, but water does come into play on plenty of the holes. Challenging greenside bunkers will make you think twice about your club selection. The par 3 11th hole's island green can be intimidating, but is reachable if the wind isn't cutting across the pond. The course is nestled into the side of a steep incline so be careful when reading putts as they can be deceiving. No matter what you see when lining it up, you'll tend to find that everything is going to roll down the mountain. My overall experience was tremendous (even if my scorecard didn't show it) and on playing on a Thursday gets you a great value ($37 for greens fees, cart, sandwich & drink) on a pristine course.
