Tons of character, unbelivable scenery, awesome greens. Honestly, this is the most underrated golf experience in Reno/Sparks. Located along the truckee river, the scenery is remarkable. I felt like I was hiking in a national park. The course was as well maintained as any high end private course I've played. Course plays very difficult if you're not hitting it straight. Fairly narrow landing areas and if you hit it in the native rough, don't expect to find it. I overlooked this course too long because I thought it was a bit pricy for a 9-hole. Don't make the same mistake.
