They really did a good job fixing up this course but should be running the sprinklers while golfers are playing.

Washington Township Golf Course is a great option for a quick round after work or a fun day with friends and family. The par-3, nine-hole course is just 1251 yards long, making it playable for golfers of any ability. Junior and beginning golfers can play without overswinging or attempting shots they aren't ready for and low handicappers can use the course to hone their short game.

Several of the holes are under 100 yards long, including the 74-yard seventh hole, a short chip from tee to green. The ninth hole is the longest hole at 248 yards, but also the only par-4 hole on the course. It's a nice challenge at the end of a pretty easy round.

Don't let the fact that this is a short municipal course fool you. The greens and fairways are very well-maintained, especially over the last few years. Washington Township Golf Course is a great value, too, offering great playing conditions for a fraction of the price of bigger clubs. Depending on the time and day, you can play a full round with cart for under $25. Discounts are available for residents of the county.

There generally is no wait time on each hole, especially so during the week where you might go several holes without seeing another golfer. The light crowds are especially favorable when golfing with children who might need a little more time for instruction in between shots.

The course is located just 20 miles south of Philadelphia, a nice day trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city. While you are in town, check out the Bacari Grill Restaurant for a nice bite to eat followed by homemade ice cream at Conrad's Confectionery in nearby Westwood.

This guy's are horrible I went ther to play haven paid yet so I was on the practice green they want me to pay $5 for every 1/2 an hour can't even put on the green just chipping the green running on 5 scale grate job guys $5 for 1/2 an hour don't go ther spend your $20 in golf now then you get a real course and chipping and putting is free

jeez its a muni,when they arent working on course it is usually in great shape,very nice staff,lts like one guy said its like you already took your drive and your hitting your second shot ,if you wanna work on driving go to range if you want to practice golf come here,usually slow enough that you can reply shots and work on your game,i basically learned how to golf here.price is right .

A good starter or practice course. In poor condition in several areas. Some tee boxes were all crab grass. Several bare spots on the greens. Only play here as practice.
