Course is in nice shape greens are in suprisingly good condition for a heavily trafficked muni course. Kudos to Kempergolf on the conditions. On the other hand the gentleman behind the counter Steve is a complete pos(sorry that is as politely as it can be stated) if this is the typical Kemper Golf employee I would stay away from any facility they manage.

This can be an expensive course to play on a weekend if your looking to take a cart but I was able to purchase a golf id card from them which cut my greens fees in half so I was totally stoked! The course is in great condition and the staff was very helpful. I'm going to play this course 20 more times this season!

played here about a month ago. it was my first time played on this course. since they just opened up, the condition was not that great, and we were not allowed to play from the black tees and the white tees.
the course itself was lots of fun, and i can see how much more fun it can be in the summer.
however, we had an extremely unpleasant experience here. i was riding a gas cart with my friend. the starter did not tell us anything about the carpath only rule, so we just decided to do the 90 degrees. on or around 14th hole, while i was on the fairway hitting my second shot, a ranger came over and started cussing up a storm. "get the f off my fairway, what part of carpath only rule do you not f'ing understand, get off my god**** fairway, blah blah".
honestly, ive never heard anything like that on a golf course. obviously, i got pissed off so my friend and i started yelling back him. he then just went away but we were too pissed off to play from that point.
a nice course but i will never go back again.

A really good test of golf from the back tees. Left and right doglegs on every other hole as well as 100+ year old trees lining nearly every fairway keeps even the best ball strikers on their toes. There is a new mgmt. company running the golf operations and so far it has brought a breath of fresh air into the course offering more tournaments and better maintainence. There is currently no driving range but there is talk that one might be installed by Spring 2011 and a new irragation system will start construction in the Winter of 2010. I think there is a lot to look forward to in the next few years of playing this course. If the pace of play could be improved this course would be a diamond in the rough.

Played in early August, despite very hot sumer, course well maintained, greens in good shape. Bunkers could use some work, but overall a very nice course. Enjoyed the course.
