I believe Miry Run has been out of business for at least a couple years. It was okay when it was operating. Isn't zero stars an option?

Played this course today and found it in poor condition. Crab grass everywhrere and tee boxes torn up. Sand traps had large stones showing.

Just a caviat to The April 09 review had to be written by staff or the owner, but the Sept 08 review was probably a golfer any course might have trouble I'll keep it real. Miry is a better course than the amount you have to pay to play on it. It's not Pebble Beach, but is pretty well kept. Decent, not great fairways, but above average true greens. Some cool holes with water, o.k scenery, kinda neat playing next to a small airport. Additionally, its two best attributes are the price..$20 to walk mid afternoon on a summer weekend is a great value for the decency of the course. The other great feature is that it doesn't get too much traffic making play fast, again, even on a summer weekend. They also have logo balls, a huge plus for me. The only drawback I can see is that the water coolers all were empty which was really bad considering how hot it was, but you can't have everything. Overall rating..A-. Btw, don't know how the food is so don't Last time I checked, I usually go to a golf course to play golf and not eat, but to each his or her own. P.s my rating aren't saving accurately so here they are...Amenities, 3.5, Difficulty 3, Maintenance 4, Scenery 3.5 Value 5, Overall 4

Played on 6-30-11 for the first time. Found the course to be in above average conditon. Great value found on, green fee & cart for $17.00 for a 2 p.m. tee time and finished the round by myself in under 3 hours. Greens and fairways were in very good conditons. A few tee boxes were so-so. Some not very long holes but overall an above average experience.

Played in November and good condition overall. Course doesn't drain well so too much rain and there is standing water. Greens were in very good shape. $29.50 to ride is good value.

I'm not sure what golf course the person was talking about last September, however I found Miry Run to be in wonderful condition for March. The greens were beautiful, and fast. Ihad my clubs picked up when I drove into the parking lot, and my cluibs were cleaned when I reached the 18th green. The staff was courteous and professional, and Miry is the only golf shop in the area that has custom fitting available for Titleist, Callaway and Nike. There was plenty of merchandise in the shop. The pricess were all lower than the local retailers.

They are building a few new tees, and inproving the bunkers. Fot the price Miry is a great place to play. By the way, the food in the bar and grill was great!!

I would highly reccomend Miry Run.

Miry Run-
I recently played there on an early September Saturday, and I was VERY displeased with the condition of the course. After paying $49 rates to ride on a Saturday Morning, I really should have went into the clubhouse and complained.

First, I should comment on the staff I interacted with during my visit. As soon as I got out of my car there was a usher to take my bag up to the first tee and set me up on a cart. He wasn't a very professional kid, very unkempt, but it was nice none the less. I then proceeded to the proshop, which looks like it was recently raided for half it merchandise. The coffee station here was filthy, and the cashier was the most miserable man I've met in a long time. I'm not quite sure how this place keeps members, or gets new ones, when their staff barks at the guests the way I was. But enough about the service (even though I would love to add a long review of the cart girl who fetched me an awful hotdog for $3).

The course at Miry run is in decent shape in most of the fairways. It doesn't seem to get as much play as a muni-track, so there are fewer divots than the norm. The Fairway distance markers were hard to find. The greens are AWFUL. There is a layer of sand on all of the greens, and they were recently plugged. I would have better chance putting in the parking lot. The course layout was not bad, some challenging shots, But none of the holes stand out as great. If you are a long hitter use some caution as you will drive thru some of the fairways here.
The one thing this course does have is great views of the surroundings, a nice wooded area, and a local airport which is direct adjacent to a few fairways. The airport was unfortunatly the selling point to this course.

Its sad to see, but there are overgrown pool and tennis facilities here, that once were probably great. This club must have been something back in the 70's, But i feel like this is what happened to 'bushwood'. This place could be better, but its just old and run down.

All and all we had some fun, after all it is golf, but it left alot to be desired.

plays tougher than it's rating and slope might suggest, esp on windy days. Greens are fast and difficult.
