It's a tough course to play despite its length. Missing the green can cost a few strokes. When I played this course, I then knew where they got the name "Bunker Hill". Three words. LOTS OF HILLS.

This is a very nice short course. Don't be fooled by the short holes - you must really think your way through this course if you want to score well. Hitting it too far from the tee on a short par 4 puts more pressure on your short game to reach the green(75 yards in). I tended to hit irons off the tee to leave myself easier full shots to the green.

Overall, lot of elevation changes makes it a little hard walking and carrying a golf bag, but not so bad that you cannot use a pull cart. Driving the golf cart is a wise option for many.

Most of the greens are small and reasonably fast, sloping away from the center.

The view is really nice, particularly now in the fall and enjoyed my round there. Pity they don't have beer at the 19th hole though...

The layout is very pleasant. Many deer sauntering 50 feet ahead. Nice to see Red Tailed Hawks.

Nice course to play. Small greens & narrow fairways make this short course challenging. The major problem is slow play. Rangers need to do a better job in pushing slow players along.

I always have a hard time scoring well at this course, seems like i am 5-6 strokes over what i shoot at other courses. It's worth playing.
