The 9-hole "Hamilton Trails" course at the Hamilton Trails Golf Club facility in Mays Landing, New Jersey features 3,265 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Bill Choltko, the Hamilton Trails golf course opened in 1984.
I love Hamilton Trails. The course is clean and in excellent condition. The price is very reasonable compared to other courses in the area. The people are friendly and I always enjoy myself. I especially like the dog Silvio that hangs out in the clubhouse. Give it a try. Mary Jo
This course is one of my guilty pleasures. Around $30 for 18 holes (play the nine-hole course twice) and it's usually not crowded. Fairways are wide, so you don't have to duck from others' errant tee-shots like you do on some other nine-hole courses. Relaxed and friendly staff in general, though the last time I played the guy at the counter said I'd only paid for nine holes when I tried to go out for the back nine. I reminded him of the conversation we had when I arrived and he then remembered I'd paid for 18, but that rubbed me the wrong way. Also, no drinking water or beverage cart on the course, so you'd better bring or buy some at the clubhouse.
