Played here 2 days ago, found course to be in very good shape minus a couple greens where people don't know how to repair ball marks. Very open lay out for the most part, but wonder to far and you are in the fescue and then good luck finding it. Went early in the morning and had no problem with pace of play. Couple of really pretty holes. Few blind tee shots, overall was a really enjoyable round and will be playing again.

The course is in very good condition for public course. Very open layout. Food could be better, Recommend afternoon play for best rates.

I am a 14 handicap. Hole #8 was a par 3 235 yds downhill difficult for me. I am a senior and the value was excellent. $35 with a cart on a Wed. afternoon

Played early in the year so not in its best shape but I have a feeling it is pretty nice once spring turns. Also, I think it gets more difficult because a lot of areas where there would be long grass once it grows in.

Nice course. Too expensive if you don't live in high bridge. I personally don't live there. Conditions are excellent for a municipal course. Layout is cool, nice links look, one of the few links courses in NJ worthy of playing.

its definitely a must play. Usually have good conditions and service. Fescue will kill you if you dont hit it straight.. Only downside to this course is the price.. overpriced..

My one and only hole in one came on this course, hole #8.. i was 17 years old..

Need to be straight when playing here. First cut of rough is inches high...and deep rough a few yards further on is knee high FESCUE....hit your ball in this stuff, and it's basically- lose your turn. Locals don't even look for their balls....it's the visitors that slow play thinking they are going to find something....and they do, but not their lost ball...only someone else's.

Wind can whip up here....changing club selection +/- 2 clubs.

Course is easier in the off-months, when they mow the FESCUE to a half-foot high rough.

If you hit it straight, you will love this course. Otherwise, bring lots of balls because you will lose them in the fescue that lines most fairways. This is an excellent links-style layout, with wind often a major factor. The club house is a trailer, but has very nice people. GPS in carts is a nice surprise for a munie. Pace of play can get slow (probably because of guys searching for lost balls in the high grass), but, overall, very highly recommended.

Great course with a variety of "fun" holes that will keep things interesting every round. The GPS is a very nice touch, and will hopefully keep you away from all that fescue surrounding the fairways. Definitely recommended.

I enjoyed using the GPS system in the carts which comes in handy on a couple of the blind tee off holes to alert you to the position of other golfers in front of you in addition to shot distances. Greens are in good shape and there's a nice driving range facility on premises. This is a "links' style course. Advice (don't get off the fairway!) straight hitters are rewarded with easy access to greens from fairways.

Awesome course

I played in a scramble tournament here last week. The conditions were excellent, the staff was great, the course was very challenging. I wish I could afford to play this course more often. The GPS carts helped me stay out of trouble (bunkers/hazards) so I could focus on fun rather than getting out of a bad situation. Club selection was very critical on a few holes. I recommend this course to anyone, just bring your "A" game.
