Soldier Hill Golf Course, Emerson, NJ

Tee'd off at 8:57am Dec. 25th 2014 on Emerson golf club. Its Great course and facility. We really enjoy the course layout. it's very playable and has a couple of great long par threes. Staff was friendly and professional. They have a restaurant, we had a hot dog it was delicious. On Christmas day I saw over hundreds of people in the course lol the weather was very warm. We Will definitely play again many times per season. by the way To all, please learn to repair your ball mark on the greens, it makes it better for everyone.

I went there with friends last Sunday, it was beautiful there I was little late for my teetime but they were nice. the course is long about 7000yard,nice fairways green was pretty fast.. im going there next sunday again!!

I had an awful customer service experience with the club. The basically robbed me of $74 in NOVEMBER, because they said I was a "no-show". I called them and cancelled within 30 minutes of the two calls. I even asked would it be a problem if I call back shortly after the first call, and they said it wouldn't be an issue.

The manager, who wasn't even the person I originally spoke to cancel, was extremely rude. After I noticed that my credit card was charged, he told me I was lying. I am not a 20 year old kid who makes tee times and "no-shows." If this doesn't get resolved, it will be extremely disappointing. I don't know why I would recommend this place to anyone, whether a beginner or seasoned golfer.

Great Course! Long par 4’s and long par 3’s. It is Long course. From the back tees it’s almost 7000 yard or more. You need good driver for this course. I really enjoyed long yardage Course nearby NYC. The greens are good. Great Course. Should try Jumbo Big Hot dog!! Will play again.

I just want say "thank you" to Emerson Golf Club. It was great party and great food. It was really great time.
Wonderful room and views. Everything was great. I will definitely recommend to my friends and families.

Just went Emerson Golf Club with friends from all over. We enjoyed very much. The golf club was Close to the city and took about 25 min from GWB. It is long course almost 7,000 yard. it is Good condition. Good Chili Dog and Food. We had great time. Friendly staff. Will be back.

Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, they are all written by the golf course owner. 3-4 years ago this golf course was in amazing shape. Best greens in the area! These new owners got rid of the guys that had that place looking amazing and boy does it show. They have no clue what they are doing and take us for fools by falsely advertising their golf course. Best thing they could do is sell the golf course and find the guys that maintained it before. They knew what they were doing unlike this joke of an owner!

Played 2 straight days on Thanksgiving day and Friday. Great weather, course maintained nice, greens good and rolls well. It was lots of players but finished in 4hrs 10 mins. Still rate is really good on Thanksgiving day and Friday. Very impressed on course condition and maintain nice.

Excellent price and Location….plus Good Course conditions. I’ve been played here for long time, but it is good condition. Tees and greens are good and clean. Don’t have any problem with face of play. I just enjoyed my “One” day of golf. Well, I believe every golf course has similar problems…I guess. Anyway I enjoyed Emerson, nearby my place and it is always challenging long course. People! Please relax, and enjoy your rounds. Try….

I normally do not write reviews, but must warn people of this garbage course. The staff is rude, it is way overpriced for what you play on. The course was not in good shape, if you are ready for a 5+ hour round, no accommodations, no rangers for pace of play, knock yourself out. You can spend half as much money and play at such a better place.

Emerson… Good Overall condition. They already and done with green aeration. Compare to last year? Much much better. I went last Saturday with my friends; we only took 4 and 20 minute. Not much crowed. Good food & Friendly staff….

Good shape of course. Long yardage course. Greens are getting better and ok condition, but No temp green. Still need some work on course, but no complain….it’s still February and enjoying my eastern winter golf.
