Twisted Dune Golf Club, Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Greens were disappointingly slow but it is a really good course. Played during the week with a deal on Golfnow but is too expensive to play on weekend.

Played here this weekend. I love the layout of the course. There are no 2 holes the same. The greens and tee boxes were in very nice shape. The fairways however had many browned out areas on many of the holes. They definitely needed some attention. Staff was as friendly as could be. An abundant amount of bunkers spread the course. Thankfully I was not in a single one during my round. A lot of them appeared to have rocks in them and its more like dirt then sand. Overall, a really pretty course and I would definelty recommend it if you are in the area.

Casino rate for this course is $49. I will be going back.Great course for the money.

This course has much more bark than actual bite. Visually, the surrounding dunes are stunning, and intimidating. With that being said, they rarely comes into play. The holes, for the most part, are straightforward and the fairways are wide. There is a lot of fescue off the fairways and on the dunes, but because it is the dry, wispy sort, it's not difficult to find your ball if you do go astray. The greens are large, and challenging. The sand, like most of the dunes, is a red, clay like dirt, almost like a baseball infield. Overall, it was a fun course and a must if you're in the AC area, even if it's just to see the dunes.

I thought this was a great course and would love to play it again - particularly after it matures a bit more.

Well beautiful driving range facility but bad day to play when the greens and FAIRWAYS are aerated for $89. 30-40 mph winds didn't help! Normally shoot an 85-90 but shot a 93 with 37 putts. Nice pro shop and staff was nice except for the fella I suggested to that they add driving markers in the middle of the fairways to - didn't receive that very well. About a 5 hour round and ok course but won't play again.

This is probably one of the nicest courses i have ever played. What a magnificent course. My first impression when I pulled up to the course was "WOW"!

Played the course Oct 24 and it was a WOW. The greens were very fast, fairways excellent, traps raked. For western Pa golfer this was a treat and I would recommend and wpa golfer to play here.
Cons: Price quoted on the phone was 80 real price 89. For Oct I thought that was a little high. If I hadn't been paired with a player who played here before I would have missed #2. Don't mind the dirt cart path but a directional flag would have been helpful.
Would I play here again. YES

Beautiful course. Great conditions from tee box to greens. Lot of divots on the fairways, but most were filled with divot mix. Windy, Windy, Windy. Great place to play in south jersey. Just don't get lost on the cart paths.

Played here on 11 May 2008; Fairways are well maintained as are the Greens; Wind is a constant factor and I think the word "TWISTED" stands for "The Wind Is SomeThin' Else Daily!!!" because you will find yourself picking as much as 3 club difference because of the wind!!! The cart path is "UGLY", AND TEETHROCKING MUDDY with potholes. Its a shame that the cart path and the course are at opposite extremes. The Dunes?? well, they are all over the place as though when the fairways were built, they dumped the excess off to the side to form the dunes and used them to also seperate the holes. Elevation changes are mild, with the exception of one or two holes. Golf Staff was very friendly and informative; Kitchen Staff was NON-EXISTENT with only cold sandwiches in the Frig. But then who goes to the golf course to eat??? Good luck

One of the best tracks in the State for sure. Awesome links style layout w/ wind! Love this one.

Must Stop

I love this course. It is my favorite golf course in New Jersey and even though I live about 1.5 hours away I make several trips down each year just to play this place. It has the look and feel of what I really expect a true links course to be. It provides a good challenge without being overly difficult and is very fun to play with a friendly and courteous staff.
