Played this course on day 1 when it opened. Thought it was a nice layout. After playing it each time I'm in town, it has nicely matured. My favorite in the area. I live 7 hrs north.

I will never go bach to Colts Neck Golf course. The course was ok but the employees ruined the round. Some a-hole with long blond hair was stalking us the entire round trying to "catch" us with a beer when we didn't have any. You are not allowed to drink on the course. The person was very rude and accused us of drinking on more than one occasion. I like to enjoy my round and this place can shove it.

really nice course but the ranger that started in the afternoon was very unprofessional.

Played there 3 weeks ago - Staff friendly and helpful - Course in great shape - Ranger shared local knowledge - Pace of play excellent - Don't tell me it is an easy course until you shoot par! The 17th is odd in that OB is very close to the green and the 18th is a par 3 three finish which I could see as a log jam when they are busy - Trust me - Give this place a try!

good range, course is in great shape, fun to play, even a really good hot dog... staff were nice and helpful but the ranger needs to work on his customer service skills and keep his unsolicited comments to himself

Just played this past Friday. Course overall was maintained well but I honestly could not enjoy my round due to the workers and their poor manners. I was so outraged by their ridiculous behavior that I had to review them here (i.e the Ranger would shout racial slurs to us). Perhaps it's my fault to try out a new course but Pebble Creek down the road treated us very well.

As previous posts mentioned it is pricey but a good course if you want to treat yourself, the finishing hole is hard - blind par 3 tee shot around water and you have no idea if you are lined up correctly, love the 17th hole though!

Scenery was great, course plays tough if you go there lazy, but relatively easy, not worth the money if you play before their twilight special.

Better than its reputation

I hear many locals always say this course is "short" but its no pushover. Might be short for Tiger Woods or John Daly, but for most average golfers you will need to be on your game to score well here. The architect did an excellent job routing this course on what is really a strange piece of land. Play it often, you will never get bored of this course. Always in nice shape too.

Good course but pricey.

Very nice course. Well manacured, always in good shape. GPS systems and golf club cleaners on the golf carts. During the summer months when the fescue is grown in, the course plays alot harder. Many par 3's and 5's. Not very difficult course if your hitter the fairway. Colts neck is a bit pricey at 100+ on weekends. Also, the people working there tend to be a bit "snutty". All in all, one of the places I prefer to play on weekends.
