Heather Hills Golf Course, Winston Salem, NC

I found this to be a wonderful, fun course to play. As a senior it was only $18 /cart. I am a high handicapper and I used my driver on all the par 4s and even some of the par 3s. Very friendly staff and a really great grill. It rained in the morning, played in the afternoon and course was dry and not muddy at all. Played April 4 and although the grass was dormant, fairways played well and greens were great. This is my new favorite course in Winston Salem.

This course is re-opened, they stretched a few par 3's out to 4's and the other reviewer is right #12 can be a bit tricky, definitely the most challenging hole. This is a great course for a beginner or to work on your short game. You won't need to take the cover off the driver, not even on the par 4's. It is a good value, staff is friendly and it is surprisingly very well maintained.

This course is open again. I learned to play golf here 20+ years ago. It is a great little executive course with many Par 3 and Par 4 holes. Most are straight forward and will work your short game skills. There are a couple of easy Par 4's and one very difficult Par 3 (Number 12-200 yards blind shot). It is well maintained and great course to take your kids, newbie golfers and those looking to work on their games.
