This is the second time I played this course. The first time was after it rained and the course was horrible. The water drained nowhere but to the center of the fairways. So I thought to myself lets give it one more try. The second time was a little better but there's something going on with the fairways. The grass was like the lawn grass people use in their yards. OH, and the bar area, closed. So no food at the turn. The only thing positive was the nice girl at the pro shop. I think this is the last time I'll golf here.

I've played here off and on for years. In the summer it can get in rough shape, and this winter it's absolutely terrible. No overseeding, spotty dormant fairways, the greens are in pretty bad shape and it's an absolute swamp for a week after it rains. Oh, and the traps are either filled with water or they're concrete. The staff really needs to get some kind of handle on this place.

Have been there twice since the new company took over. Can't wait to see if they can grow grass in the rough. Greens have always been great compared to any other public course. My first advice to newCo is stop making the driving range a sand trap (who is the clown that for the last 3 years pours half an acre of sand up there), fill the ball washers and expand the bar by taking over that unused space!! Do those you'll have many fans. Best of luck...yeah the traps...you know in the end use local rule, lift and rake...It will cost a fortune to remake. Bulldoze the Niagara falls practice green first.

I have been a member at this club since March and have seen vast improvements in all areas of the golf course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a challenging course with 4 tee boxes for all levels of play.

I really like Falls Village. There are very few public golf courses within the vicinity of North Raleigh that aren't littered with homes or scrunched into too tight of a property. Falls Village is on a failed development, so it's just the golf course, which works out great. It's on sprawling acreage, so very few of the holes touch another. There's nothing fancy about it, and it has the feeling of a public course that should be a $30 weekday/$40 weekend rate. So as much as $60 for green fees on the weekend is a bit pricy for what you get.

Played last week and the course was in great shape and the greens rolling well.
