I give this course 5 stars (although it wouldn't take 5 stars). Played it today at a ladies tournament and the course was like playing on velvet! Absolutely perfect! I am a 30 handicap, so this course was challenging, yet fun! The staff and members were friendly and very helpful! Just a wonderful experience!

I played the back nine today and the course was in great shape. The fairways were very well kept. Since I played close to sunset I had a great view of it (the setting sun). There is also a great view of Pilot Moutain. I would play again and recommend it to other. The price was not bad either. Check it out a hidden gem not far from Winston-Salem

Pilot Knob finally got to play it yesterday. Great course several risk reward holes. I think I hit sand 4 times yesterday. Fairways are excellent shape like playing on green carpet. Greens were like putting on glass. Pilot Knob is an outstanding Course that is in great shape to play on, especially this time of year with the fall scenery. Only problem was there was several walkers and they were a bit on the slow side. Even the water coolers were ice cold don’t get any better than that.
I will be going back soon.

PKP is a short course but one that will bite you while you aren't looking. The par 5's are reachable from the tips although sand traps will easily catch errant second shots. A couple of long par 3s will shake the nerves but other than that its driver wedge for most straight hitters. The crew keeps conditions meticulous at this layout. Watch out on 13. There used to be a dog living adjacent that loved stealing balls off the green.
