Super fun course to play. Drive well you can score well. Risk reward course with some forced carry. Reachable par fives except for a super long #18. There are challenging par threes requiring very accurate tee shots. Lot of forced carry. The course is wooded with a lot of hills and it drains really well. A beautiful creek runs along several of the holes on the back nine. So many deer along with other wildlife. Greens are great , pretty quick with lots of break as your puts slow down near the cups. The more familiar you become with this course the more fun it becomes.staff friendly and the pace of play is not any worse than anywhere else. Most of the par fives are reachable so that slows pace a little. The scenery and wildlife give you plenty to enjoy while waiting, enjoy your round and take time to enjoy this gem.
I played on a Thursday at the senior rate and felt it was a great deal. The pace of play was a little on the slow side and a couple of the greens were in less than perfect condition, but I love the layout of the course especially since they rearranged the first four holes.
I played this course 5/1/10 and the course was in terrible shape. The greens are dead. They sprayed the greens with something to give the appearcne they were alive, the color wasn't even a true green. The greens were very bumpy with weeds growing in them. The layout is like playing "gooney golf".
Could have been a nice course, but has been run into the ground. Owners have no idea how to run a golf course and refuse (or can't afford) to hire qualified staff. Played on the weekend, pace of play was awful! Saw a ranger, but he was just riding around. Overall condition of course was very poor. Some of the greens are 80% dead, 10% weeds and 10% grass. It's a new course, but appears to be heading in the wrong direction.
New course cart paths are not finish, club house is a trailer. Debris is off to the side on holes ie, bricks, dirt piles. but it have room for great course to be once established
