What a pleasant surprise this course was. I had seen it only from the road and was unimpressed. I wasn't sure what to expect when I tee'd off...but on the first hole I could see that I was in for a course that would challenge my abilities. The guy in the clubhouse said the front nine was tight...NOT..I found the fairways generous and well maintained. The front nine winds through the woods...and requires you to hit every club in the bag. (my bag anyway!!) The back nine was ore wide open...but still a decent test of your game. The conditions were great..and the price...well..they give the Seniors a decent break. I WILL be going back again!!

This course is in the worst shape I have ever seen it. Stop spending money on the clubhouse and mow the course. Lost two balls just off the fairway with the unmowed lawn

Fun and Challenging

Go to the driving range -- off of #1; pull out your 5 Wood, Hybrid and long irons - and hit a full bucket. Front 9 - challenges you right away - with Par5; Multiple doglegs - takes "driver" out of play -- and forces you to use your fairway woods or hybrids. Great course!

Very tight track!

Generally a well-maintained older course that defends itself with very tight fairways and very small greens. The front nine has more character then the back nine, and #3 is certainly a very tough hole to score par on. The greens were fast, but didn't hold approach shots. A bump and run game will work well here for you. Definitely a good value, worthy of a return trip.

Great value

Lincoln Country Clun is like two courses in one. The front 9 has narrow fairways with heavy woods on many of the holes making it impossible to score well if you are not hitting your tee shots down the middle. The back 9 opens up a little more making it easier to recover from mistakes.

The greens are small and difficult to hit. All in all, this course is a bargain at less than $50 to play.
