Played Cutter Creek for the first time today and WILL definitely go back. This has to be one of the best courses in the eastern part of NC and top dozen in the state.

You will need a GPS to find the course as it's located in a rural area near Snow Hill. Once you find the course, it's like an oasis in the desert. The Pro Shop staff was friendly and helpful and we found the practice facilities (driving range and practice putting green) very nice. The grass on the driving range is better than some fairways at other nice courses.

The tee boxes are exceptionally well kept and the fairways were in excellent condition. The bunkers were also in good condition and the Ultra dwarf Champions Bermuda greens exceptional. They rolled very true and were pretty fast. Overall, the course was in excellent condition and the layout is both challenging and rewarding. This is one of Bob Moore's better designs in North Carolina.

The homemade sandwiches in the restaurant were out of this world and everything about Cutter Creek is a cut above the rest.

It's definitely worth the trip to Snow Hill to play this outstanding venue.

Nice, new course in rural Eastern NC. Well maintained and should finish growing in by summer 2010. Get directions from course or you could get lost in the countryside.
