I was visiting the area from out of town and was sent to the course by a business acquaintance.

I really enjoyed Falling Creek. It was in great condition. The greens were rebuilt a few years ago and were awesome. It is one of those old school style golf courses, what you see is what you get. For me, that is the type of course I like to play. The par 4s are tough, but fair. I really had to scramble on the par 3s.

Another review mentioned a lack of hospitality, but the new pro was awesome. I played with some members. I really enjoyed my round at Falling Creek. I plan to play it again when I am back in the area.

Not bad

I have played this course off and on for over 25 years. I haven't played it since the greens have been been replaced about a year or so ago. The par 3 are the meat of the course. The course doesn't have any tricks to it, what you see is what you get. You will need to keep it between the tree lines, once you get out of them, you will usually be hitting off of hard pan or tree roots. I enjoy playing the course. The members there can be quite rude and don't expect much hospitality in the pro shop unless you are a regular. Make sure to play early in the morning or late afternoon because they have a regular shoot out around noon often with about 15 to 25 players.

ron storm amateur golfer 3 handicap

the greens on this course have recently been changed to champion bermuda. they are in excellent condition. it is a very fun golf course, with 3 very difficult par 3's. the par 5's are all reachable with good drives. it is always easy to get a game here and there are a wide variety of golfers here from scratch to high handicap. the fairways are also in very good condition. par 4's are the most difficult part of falling creek, but they are fair. you will have a great time playing this course.
